FAQs

  • We offer a free 15-minute consultation call so we can get to know each other, talk through what you're looking for, and see if we’re a good fit. You're welcome to ask questions and get a feel for my style before scheduling.

  • We are not in-network with insurance companies.

Many clients use their out-of-network benefits, which may reimburse part of the session cost. To check your coverage, ask your insurance provider:

    • Do I have out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy?

    • What percentage is reimbursed?

    • What is my deductible?

    • Are these codes covered?

      • 90791 (Initial Evaluation)

      • 90834 (Psychotherapy)

We provide monthly superbills you can submit for reimbursement. HSA/FSA accounts may also be used.

  • Please contact us directly for current session fees, we typically start with rates as low as $225, but we are happy to talk through options. We understand therapy is a financial commitment, and our priority is to accommodate your needs.

  • We ask for 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session.
If you provide less than 48 hours’ notice, the full session fee applies unless we’re able to find another time within the same week. Insurance does not reimburse missed sessions.

  • Yes — We offer both in-person therapy at our Midtown East office, and virtual sessions for clients throughout New York State. You can choose whichever feels most comfortable or convenient. We also offer hybrid options.

  • It varies. Some clients see meaningful changes within a few months; others prefer longer-term support. We'll talk together about the pace and goals that feel right for you.

  • Most people start with weekly sessions to build momentum and skills. As you begin to feel more confident, we may move to bi-weekly or maintenance (as needed) sessions.
