Who we are

Sarah Weiss, LCSW

Founder

Sarah received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Syracuse University and New York University, respectively. She has trained in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient hospitals, schools, community mental health clinics, and private group practice across the New York City area. Specifically, Sarah’s experience includes working as a psychiatric social worker at Lenox Hill and Bellevue as well as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and associate program director for mental health at The Institute for Family Health. Most recently, Sarah was a senior clinician at Flatiron CBT.

Sarah completed Psychodynamic training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. She has worked with individuals, groups and families presenting with mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders and trauma and stressor-related disorders.

With extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and Habit Reversal Training (HRT), Sarah uses an integrative and collaborative approach by incorporating a variety of techniques into her work.

Courtney Goeb, LCSW

Associate Clinician

Courtney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University and began her career as a mental health clinician before serving as Program Director at a community mental health clinic. In these roles, she gained extensive experience both providing therapy and supervising other clinicians.

Courtney works with individuals and couples navigating OCD, anxiety, emotional intensity, and relationship challenges. Her clients are often insightful, high-functioning, and ready to move beyond reactive patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Whether you’re managing intrusive thoughts, emotional dysregulation, or uncertainty in your identity or partnership, Courtney takes an active, warm, and collaborative approach, blending evidence-based techniques with psychodynamic insight to help you build new ways of coping, connecting, and living with greater clarity and purpose.

She incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD alongside Psychodynamic therapy. Her approach is informed by DBT training with Behavioral Tech and years of experience as a clinician and program director in community mental health.

In both her professional and personal life, Courtney values creativity, honesty, introspection, and a healthy dose of humor. She lives in New York City and enjoys quiet time in nature and at the beach.
