Frequently asked questions.

How do I get started?

If you are interested in getting more information or would like to get a better sense of me and how I work, I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation phone call where we can briefly discuss your needs and see if we might work well together.

Do you accept insurance?

I am not affiliated with any insurance companies. If you are interested in using your insurance, please contact your insurance company directly and inquire if they provide partial reimbursement for an out-of-network mental health provider for the following service codes:

90791 Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation

90834 Psychotherapy

Also inquire if you have a deductible that needs to be met.

I can provide you with monthly paperwork (i.e., a superbill) to submit to them for reimbursement. Alternatively, you may also be able to use a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) to pay for therapy.

What are your fees?

Please contact Sarah for current fees.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for 48 hours notice for cancellations, otherwise you are responsible for the cost of your session. There is no charge if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice and we are able to reschedule your session for the same week. Please note that insurance companies generally do not reimburse you for missed session fees.

Do you offer in-person and video sessions?

Yes, I have both in-person and teletherapy options available at my practice.
