Sarah is a New York State licensed clinical social worker who specializes in working with adults experiencing stress, anxiety (e.g., generalized anxiety, OCD, phobias, social anxiety and panic attacks) depression, issues with self-esteem and self-doubt, relationship issues, life transitions, and other difficulties.

Her approach integrates evidence-based therapy and skills including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Training (HRT) as well as other mindfulness and acceptance-based approaches. Sarah aims to tailor therapy to who you are in order to best provide what you need.

Sarah values providing a warm, collaborative, open and non-judgmental environment to help you understand the connection between thought patterns, emotions and behaviors that are impacting you with the goal of making more deliberate, values- based choices to achieve a more meaningful and fulfilling life. She strongly believes that building a trusting and authentic therapeutic relationship is integral to feel both understood and supported. She believes that treatment is most successful when the client feels comfortable to be their most genuine self.
